  1. Terms

    Medfast Software license agreement between Plus Software (Albalas Software Company) and the end user.

    Important: Read the following carefully before installing, downloading or using this program.

    This software license agreement, hereinafter referred to as the “agreement”, is entered into between:

    • The end user (whether a natural or legal person)
    • Plus Software Company (Albalas Software Company) referred to as “Albalas Software Company”


    This agreement authorizes the end user to use the program mentioned in paragraph below:

    It is a program that is downloaded and run through the Internet, and after the user registers in his/her personal account, the user can obtain medical service by requesting a health-care provider for a home or virtual visit and medical care. The program enables the user to call one of the registered doctors to request medical service from the nearest doctor as specified through the GPS system or a request for a specialized doctor through telemedicine or a request for laboratory tests, home X-rays, medicines, physiotherapy, or everything related to medical care. This agreement relates to the rights of the end user in exchange for fees. It is not considered a sale agreement, and the “Albalas Software Company” remains the owner of the program.

    You must read this agreement well before installing, downloading or using this program by clicking on the “Agree” button while installing, downloading or using the program, the user agrees to the terms and conditions of this agreement, and if the user does not agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement, then he must click the button “Reject” or “I do not agree” and cancel the installation or the download! The user agrees that his use of the program is an acknowledgment of his reading of this agreement, his understanding of it, and his acceptance of abiding by its terms and conditions.

    1. The program specified above.
    2. Promotions, modified versions and updates, if any, which were licensed by “Albalas Software Company” for the end user under this agreement.

    In order to be able to register and use the application to obtain the medical service provided, you must be (18) years old or above. By registering in this application, you acknowledge and guarantee that you have the right, authority and eligibility to enter these terms of use and abide by all the terms and conditions contained therein.

    • The end user may not use, modify, translate, reproduce, or waive the right to use or copy the program, except as expressly provided in this agreement.
    • It is not permissible to reverse engineer, reverse translate, decompile, or attempt to discover the original code of the program (except to the extent that this restriction is expressly prohibited by law) or to create derivative works based on the program.
    • The end user acknowledges and agrees to use the program in a manner consistent with the applicable laws in the jurisdiction in which the program is used, including but not limited to, the applicable restrictions related to copyright and other intellectual property rights.
  2. Effective and expiry date of the agreement

    This agreement is effective from the first day of installing the program, and the end user may terminate this agreement at any time by permanently deleting the program. The “Albalas Software Company” may terminate the rights of the end user automatically and immediately without any notice if the end user breaches any of the terms of this agreement, and in this case the user must delete the program permanently.

  3. Service Fee

    Fees will be paid for the medical service provided according to the value shown on the application, according to each service separately.

    Within the following conditions and data

    1. Home visit
      • When the healthcare provider approves the visit and starts to go to the user’s location, the value will be reserved (the price of the home examination in addition to the medical procedures previously selected by the user in the event that a medical procedure is chosen).
      • Upon completion of the medical visit, the full adjusted value will be deducted (the value of the visit + the modified medical procedures in the event that a medical procedure is added or removed by the healthcare provider after the completion of the medical visit).
      • In the event that the request is canceled before the healthcare provider accepts it, no responsibility incurred.
      • In the event that the request is canceled before 10 seconds have passed from the time the healthcare provider accepts the request, you will be responsible, and in the event of repeated cancellation of the request after the approval of the healthcare provider and is on the way to you, the company has the right to suspend your account without referring to you.
      • In the event that the request is canceled after 10 seconds have passed from the time the healthcare provider accepts the request, you will be unable to cancel and it will be stopped and the healthcare provider is the only one who has the ability to cancel the visit or contact the technical support center for the medfast application.
    2. Virtual visit
      • When booking the appointment for the visit with the specialized healthcare provider, the value will be reserved.
      • When sending the prescription and the healthcare provider’s notes on it, the value will be deducted.
      • In the event that the request is canceled by you after the healthcare provider confirms it and the health care provider accepts the request, you will be responsible and in the event of repeated cancellation of the request after the approval of the health care provider, Al-Balas Software Company has the right to suspend your account without referring to you and demand financial fees according to the cancellation policies adopted by the application of medfast.


      • The “Albalas Software Company” may update or change our services or the provisions stipulated in these terms from time to time. Therefore, we recommend reviewing these terms regularly. Such modifications will have an immediate effect.

        Therefore, you acknowledge and agree that your continued use of our services after updating or changing these terms constitutes your acceptance of these amended terms. In the event that these terms are changed in a way that materially affects your use of the services, we may without any obligation or restriction send notices on the application or notify you via email of such changes.

        The most recent version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail and supersede all previous versions.
  4. Privacy policy

    Al-Balas Software Company and all of its subsidiaries consider the privacy of your confidential information as one of the most important elements in our relationship with you. We take seriously our responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your information in accordance with what is required by law to maintain the privacy and security of the information. In the event of any breach It harms the integrity and confidentiality of your information. You will be notified immediately.

    We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully and in detail: –

    We use your personal information (name, address, phone number, e-mail, etc.) to provide and improve the services you request. By using that service, you agree to collect and use the information in accordance with this policy.

    This policy only applies to our website. If you will leave our site through another link or otherwise, you will be subject to this other internet provider’s policy. We have no control over the policy or terms of the other website you moved to, and you should review their own policy before continuing to access this other website.

  5. Collection and use of information

    “Albalas Software Company” owns all rights, ownership and interests of its applications, including patent rights, copyright, secrets and trademarks, and all other property rights that include additions, updates and modifications to its applications. It is also not permissible to modify, translate or prepare business models from deconstructing code, software engineering, codes, or otherwise attempting to derive codes from another application, and it is also not permissible to remove, hide or change the existing copyright, trademark and intellectual property notices contained within or upon accessing any of the “medfast” applications.

  10. Medical Disclaimer

    Medfast does not provide medical advice, it is a way to connect doctors with the local community, (medfast is not a doctor). No one of the contributors, system operators, developers, medfast sponsors, or any other person associated with Medfast, is responsible. No liability or consequences arising from any attempt to use the application. Anything on the medfast app or included as part of any project of Plus Software should not be construed as an attempt to provide or offer a medical opinion. Nor is it an attempt to engage in the practice of medicine. Text, pictures, graphics, services and other materials (content) are for informational purposes only, and are provided on an “as is” basis. The content is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. To get medical advice, ask the health care provider through the medfast app, as he is only authorized to give medical advice and care. Plus Software is not responsible under any circumstances for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exceptional damages arising from the use or inability to use the application or its services. Plus Software is not responsible for the content of the application and is not responsible for the inappropriate use of it or for any problems that may arise from its use, and the user is the only one responsible for his actions while using the application. In the event that you pass an urgent medical emergency, take the initiative to contact the Civil Defense. Thank you for your cooperation.   11. Home visit cancellation policy (online payment)

    • Cancellation of the value of the reservation of the amount in the event that the healthcare provider’s decision not to visit the user’s home after the initial examination through phone call or contact through the app, the request will be canceled by the healthcare provider and the value of the reservation is canceled.
    • Cancellation of the value of the reservation of the amount in the event that less than 10 seconds have passed from the approval of the request by the healthcare provider and the healthcare provider has started moving towards the user’s house, the user then can cancel the visit and cancel the amount of the reservation with the application of the penalties stipulated in clause 3 “service fees”.
    • The user cannot cancel the request when more than 10 seconds have passed from the healthcare provider’s approval of the home visit, and the cancellation is within the authority of the healthcare provider only or contacting the technical support department in the MedFast application to be canceled after returning to the healthcare provider.
  12. Home visit return policy (online payment)

    • Upon the end of the visit by the healthcare provider and if the healthcare provider did not make the necessary examination, the visit is evaluated by the user with less than 3 stars and a report is sent stating that to be followed up by the medfast team and investigated so that the value of the visit amount will be returned in case of proven unprofessionalism of the healthcare provider.
    • It is possible to deduct the return fees of up to 5% of the amount that was paid, and the procedures for returning fees may take between several days to several weeks, depending on the payment gateways and the bank you deal with, and medfast will not be borne. No responsibility for any delay in the recovery process.
    • medfast uses the Jordanian Dinar as the primary currency for payments via the Internet, and therefore payment gateways may deduct transfer fees if the payment is made in another currency, which varies from one gateway to another. In the case of requesting a refund of the paid fees, medfast does not assume any responsibility for the difference in exchange rates, as any amount is received or refunded in Jordanian Dinar only.
  13. Cancellation policy by virtual visit (online payment)

    • Cancellation of the reserved amount in the event that the healthcare provider does not send the prescription and his notes on it within 8 hours of the end of the virtual visit.
    • Cancellation of the value of the reservation amount in the event that the healthcare provider does not confirm the date specified by the user and previously appointed within the times available by the healthcare provider after 18 hours have passed from the user’s request and if the virtual visit is scheduled less than 18 hours after the user’s request, the non-attendance of the healthcare provider at the time suggested by the user will cause the reserved amount to be canceled.
    • If the appointment is canceled by the user, an amount will be deducted from the reservation value according to the cancellation policy established by medfast, and you will get the remaining amount after applying this policy:
      1. The first case: – Cancellation of the value of the reservation of the amount and a return of 25% of the value of the reserved amount, i.e. a deduction of 75% of the value of the reservation in the event that the user cancels the date of the virtual visit that was confirmed by the healthcare provider, provided that there are at least 4 hours to start the date of the specified virtual visit.
      2. The second case: – Cancellation of the value of the reservation of the amount and a return of 75% of the value of the reserved amount, i.e. a deduction of 25% of the value of the reservation in the event that the user cancels the appointment of the virtual visit that was confirmed by the healthcare provider, provided that there are at least 12 hours to start the date of the specified virtual visit.

    • The user cannot cancel the visit when the appointment starts and the video screen starts appearing and it is the authority of the healthcare provider only or contact the technical support department in the medfast application to be canceled which will communicate with the healthcare provider and in this case the full value of the visit is deducted when sending the healthcare provider Prescription, i.e. ending the visit naturally, to ensure that the healthcare provider also attends the virtual visit even if the user does not attend.
    • Canceling the reservation of the amount when the healthcare provider does not attend the appointment of the virtual visit and is more than 5 minutes late to the specified date, when the start button is not pressed to start the visit after 5 minutes have passed since the start of the appointment.
    • Canceling the reservation of the amount when the healthcare provider attends the appointment, but for an emergency reason, he cancels the visit or the video closes due to a technical problem such as the expiration of the charging or electricity interruption during the virtual visit.
  14. Virtual visit return policy (online payment)

    • Upon the end of the virtual visit by the healthcare provider and the healthcare provider does not make the necessary disclosure which will be revealed by evaluating the virtual visit by the user with less than 3 stars and sending a report stating this to be followed up by the medfast team and investigating this so that the value of the visit will be returned if it is proven unprofessionalism of the healthcare provider who did not perform the required treatment.
    • It is possible to deduct the return fees up to 5% of the amount that was paid, and the procedures for returning fees may take between several days to several weeks, depending on the payment gateways and the bank you deal with, and medfast will not be borne. No responsibility for any delay in the recovery process.

  15. Site service performance:

    Medfast does not guarantee that it will be available on the web 100%, but we will make every effort to maintain the availability of the site and preserve it as much as possible.

    • I agree to the terms of use and privacy terms and agree to the cancellation policy and the return policy.
    • The English version of the Terms of Use is the approved version, and in the event of a conflict between it and the Arabic version, the English version is the approved one.
